Experimental Recipes] Let's make a "Boom" explosion and blast off air!
2018.12.01<What to prepare
Empty plastic bottles (circular ones containing carbonated beverages)
Cutter
Clay
Glass Rod
Vinyl Tape
Scissors
Hydrogen Cylinders
Chuckerman.
<1>
Cut off the bottom of the PET bottle. Be very careful not to cut your hand with the cutter, as it is slippery.
<2>
Attach the clay to the glass tube and insert it into the mouth of the plastic bottle. Fill the gap tightly to prevent air from escaping.
<3>
Wrap vinyl tape for reinforcement.
<4>
Hold the tip of the glass tube with your finger, attach the tube to the hydrogen cylinder, insert the tube at the top, and slowly fill it with hydrogen.
*If you put hydrogen in the bottom first, it will mix with the air (oxygen) in the PET bottle and cause an explosion at the moment of ignition.
<5>
It ignites immediately after removing the finger.
At first, the flame is silently lit because of the 100% hydrogen content.
(Actual hydrogen fire is colorless, but has a slight orange tinge due to soot from the gas.)
After a while, heat is transferred into the PET bottle and mixes with the air (oxygen) from below, releasing energy all at once and creating an explosive atmosphere.
