Focus Systems is involved in almost everything that has the name "IT" in it. Our motto is "Technology with heart. We believe that it is important to work from the heart.
We have decided to establish this award so that junior and senior high school students can do the research they want to do to the fullest extent. We are also looking for young researchers who can communicate with you. We look forward to receiving your heartfelt applications!

Application Theme

Natural sciences (physics, chemistry, biology, geology), technology development, social sciences, etc. All kinds of research topics conducted by junior high and high school students are invited.

Usage Expenses required for research and development (materials, parts, equipment, transportation, etc., excluding food and beverage expenses). However, food and beverage expenses are excluded.)

Application Requirements

The applicant must be a junior high school student or a high school or college of technology student who applies for the program.
Parental or school consent is required.
The applicant must be able to provide information (including contact information) that must be provided in the application form.
The applicant must be able to participate in the award ceremony on May 24 (Sun.) in Tokyo.(Currently discussing how to respond to the impact of the new coronavirus)
Present your research results at Science Castle 2020 Kanto (Dec. 19 (Sat.) and 20 (Sun.), 2020)
The applicant agrees to the publication of his/her information and research results (including personal information such as name, age, school affiliation, and photograph) on the website, publications, SNS, and any other media operated by LIVERNESS.

Interview period
This will be done online on weekdays from Friday, 6/5/2020 to Friday, 6/19/2020.
Those eligible for interviews will be contacted within one week after the application deadline.
Please let us know in advance if there are any dates during the above period that you will not be available for interviews.

All middle and high school students who wish to apply are required to register all members of the team, whether they are representatives or not, with their RIBANES ID. The Research Grant Entry screen will appear after you log in to your RIBANES ID, so please register with your RIBANES ID.

Preparation of Consent Form

If this is part of a school activity, please prepare a consent form for school teachers (for schools); otherwise, please prepare a consent form for the person responsible for the protection of all team members (for individuals). Please download the model of the consent form below.
