The Science Castle Singapore Conference brings together junior and senior high school students from Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, and other Asian countries to foster intellectual curiosity through cross-border exchange and to produce human resources who will move Asia and the world in the future. This is an international conference where all moderators and presentations will be given in English.
We hope that many of the next generation will emerge from here to solve the world's problems through research and create a new future.

2017
January 13 (Fri.) Abstract submission deadline
Feb. 19 (Sun.) Preliminary English training (Tokyo)
Feb. 26 (Sun.) Preliminary English Training (Osaka)
March 7-12 Last minute mentoring (conducted remotely)

About Pre-English Training

In order to communicate your research in English in a way that is easy to understand, you will learn the structure of a research presentation and how to express yourself.
During the training, participants will actually improve their slides and practice their presentations.

*About Last Minute Mentoring
Based on the slides to be submitted after the training, we will brush up the content of the presentation in order to present it within the time frame.

The above training is open to all participants, regardless of whether they are presenting a poster or oral presentation.

If it is difficult to come to the Osaka or Tokyo venues, training can be conducted remotely via Skype or other means.

She grew up in Singapore and Thailand, did her undergraduate work in the U.S., and then studied cuckoos in Darwin, Australia, where she received her Ph. He is currently working in Singapore as President of Riverness Singapore! tokue_photo

 

Nami Akinaga Master's degree
Completed the Graduate Program for Global Leadership in Sustainability Studies, The University of Tokyo

He has been trained in an all-English environment at a graduate school where researchers from all over the world gather. In addition to his work at LIVERNESS, he also serves as a representative of Japan for the UNESCO World Conference on ESD and the ASEAN YOUNG LEADERS SUMMIT. ★DSC00104

 

Satomi Maeda Ph.
Wright State University, Human Factors Psychology

After graduating from high school, she moved to the United States. Received B.A., M.A., and Ph.D. degrees in Psychology. While in school, she worked as an academic advisor and was involved in undergraduate curriculum evaluation, training, and outreach activities. At the RIVANES International Development Division, she mainly plans and develops global leadership development training programs for middle and high school students and conducts teacher training. ★DSC00253

Participation fee: $50.00

125,000 - 144,000 yen per participating student (tax included)
Includes conference participation fee and English presentation training

120,000-134,000 yen per accompanying teacher (tax included)
