EBARA CORPORATION and LEVANES Corporation have established the "Science Castle Research Fund EBARA Prize" to support research activities and science education of middle and high school students who will lead the next generation and develop science and technology, and began accepting applications for the prize on May 24, 2021.

The theme of the call is "Research to Create the Future Using Flow". We welcome a wide range of research on "flow" of gases, liquids, electricity, and other substances. We look forward to receiving many more submissions as we did last year.

EBARA: Continuing on from last year, we are calling for research themes related to "flow.
Since its establishment as a pump manufacturer in 1912, EBARA has continued to think about the future of people, society, and the environment through "monozukuri" (manufacturing). We would like to continue to support the research of the future leaders of the future, and at the same time, we would like to be stimulated by your ideas.

Target: Junior high school students, high school students, and technical college students (3rd year or younger) who are engaged in research activities.
Application Period : 2021/5/24 (Mon.) - 2021/6/16 (Wed.) 17:00
Purpose of use ：Expenditures for research and development
(Material, parts purchase, equipment, transportation, etc., but excluding food and beverage expenses. However, food and beverage expenses are excluded.)
Grant : 150,000 yen for research expenses, research mentoring by an expert (online, about once a month)
Number of cases adopted : 4
Research period : After the adoption (expected in the latter half of July 2021) to the end of December
