【大阪】12月19日(日)にサイエンスキャッスル2021 関西大会を開催!富田林高等学校 梅川翔平さんが最優秀賞を授賞

On December 19, 2021, Science Castle 2021 Kansai Conference was held at Meisei Junior High School and Meisei Senior High School, Meisei Gakuen, Osaka. The conference featured 86 poster presentations and 12 oral presentations. All programs, including poster presentations, were conducted while taking measures against infectious diseases.

Science Castle 2021 Kansai Conference had 13 companies and universities participating as partners. In addition, a total of 12 researchers, including graduate students, PhD students, and working professionals, participated as research coaches to participate in discussions with presenters at poster presentations.

Science Castle 2021 Kansai Competition, Grand Prize

O-008 Changes in the fish fauna of Ishikawa - a study of its factors
Shohei Umekawa Osaka Prefectural Tondabayashi High School
The Science Castle Grand Prize was awarded to the project for its logical and quantitative analysis, consideration, and proposal on how to restore the river ecosystem by evaluating the river environment by tracing the data back to 60 years ago.

Science Castle 2021 Kansai Conference, Otemon Gakuin University Award

O-009 Disposal of waste cabbage with millworms
Kazune Yanagitani Seifu Junior and Senior High School
The Otemon Gakuin University Prize was awarded to this project for the reality of its problem-solving approach, which aims for low-environmental-impact processing and effective utilization of waste vegetables from schools.

In addition, 11 oral presentations, excluding the Best Presentation Award, were awarded the Excellence Award of Science Castle 2021 Kansai Conference, in honor of their oral presentations selected from among those submitted this year.
