The Science Castle Seminar is a place for students and faculty who want to present more advanced research to receive guidance on presentations and seminars that provide tips on how to get started with their research.

In this Science Castle Seminar, we held a presentation dojo and individual research consultations.

Presentation Dojo
The purpose of the Presentation Dojo is to identify research issues.
You cannot communicate your own research to others unless you fully understand it yourself. However, this may not be apparent until you actually present it or write it down. Therefore, we hope that by presenting your research here, you will realize what you do not fully understand and take it home with you.
Receiving input from other participants will also help you gain new perspectives on your research.

Individual consultation
We will ask questions and provide consultation on research such as "I want to clarify something like this, but I don't know what to do," and find the next step in the research process. If the issues in your research become concrete, we can connect you to researchers at universities or companies in fields similar to the one you are working on.

The students who participated this time came all the way from Niigata!
He is currently conducting research on a plant called Drosophila, and has participated in the Bio Summit and the Society of Plant Physiologists. In the course of our discussion, I introduced him to professors from Hokkaido University and Nagoya University who are related to his research theme.

Research presentation is an opportunity for growth! This is a research presentation practice game for young researchers! Various schools will gather for mock research presentations and discussions. This is a great opportunity for young researchers to practice their research presentations!
