2024.12.27On Saturday, December 21, 2024, Science Castle 2024 Osaka-Kansai was held at Daiwa University, Osaka-Suita Campus, with a total of545The event was attended by 12 oral presentations and 80 poster presentations. On the day of the event, 12 oral presentations were made, 80 poster presentations were made, and a total of 16 partners from companies and universities participated. A total of 20 researchers, including graduate students, PhD students, and working professionals, participated as research coaches to participate in discussions with presenters at the poster presentations. In addition, nine poster presentations were given by students from Singapore, Malaysia, and the Philippines, who won the Grand Prize at Science Castle 2024 Asia, the Rohto Special Award, and the Focus Systems Special Award, as well as special projects with them, making this a global conference.

In this program, we will share what kind of research is being conducted in Southeast Asia with students from Singapore, Malaysia, and the Philippines. We also shared and discussed what kind of future they envision as the next generation of researchers as well as Japanese junior and senior high school students, including their experiences at the Science Castle Asia in October 2024.
