The Science Castle 2019 Tohoku Conference was held on Saturday, December 14, 2019, at the Narita Community Center in Tomiya, Japan.

 

This conference, with the theme "Let's Design the Future Society," was held as the second day project of the Future and Hydrogen Energy Forum in Tomiya.In Tomiya City, Miyagi Prefecture, a city with a vision of "a town where the number of people will continue to increase for 100 years," next-generation junior and senior high school students took the lead in discussing various lifestyle changes in society in the future, including medical care, disaster prevention, and transportation, creating an opportunity to "develop next-generation leaders.

 

On the day of the conference, 54 abstracts from 22 schools were presented,Including middle and high school students, teachers, and general visitorsA total of 376 people participated in the event, including 12 corporate partners, 12 university partners, 2 cooperating universities and organizations, and 4 Future Hydrogen Energy Forum in Tomiya partners.
