Humans live by benefiting from the development of science and technology through research activities. On the other hand, the human-centered use of science and technology has placed a heavy burden on the natural environment, creating many challenges as well as benefits.

 

Therefore, the Science Castle 2018 Kyushu Conference was held in Minamata City, Japan's environmental capital, under the theme "The Future of Humans and the Environment," as a place to rethink the relationship between humans, science and technology, and the environment, and to begin creating the future.

 

On the day,Each was implemented with 13 university and corporate partners,Presentations from 20 schools and 56 abstracts were gathered from 8 prefectures in the Kyushu and Chugoku regions, with 318 participants including junior and senior high school students, teachers, and general visitors.
