On Sunday, December 23, 2018, the Science Castle 2018 Kansai Conference was held at Meisei Junior High School and Meisei Senior High School of Meisei Gakuen, Osaka, under the conference theme "New Research Starting Today". Held with 12 university and corporate partners, respectively, the conference attracted presentations from 61 schools and 130 abstracts on the day, with 607 participants including middle and high school students, teachers, and general visitors.
