THK Award 2020

THK Award 2020 is now closed for submissions.

THK Corporation has developed the world's first "LM Guide" based on an original idea and proprietary technology. The LM Guide is a machine element part that enables smooth linear motion by realizing "rolling" of the linear motion part, and is used not only in factory machinery, automobiles, aircraft, robots, and seismic isolation mechanisms of high-rise buildings and houses, but also in the crane part of crane games, which are familiar to everyone. They are also used in the cranes of crane games, which are familiar to everyone.

However, we believe that there are still many issues in the world that can be solved by adding "smooth movement. Therefore, this time we are calling for ideas for creating something that solves the world's problems by utilizing the LM Guide. This is a "creative development type manufacturing" in which junior high and high school students create and develop what they wish they had on their own. The content of the challenge can be anything.

The selected teams will not only receive development fees and the necessary LM Guide, but also THK employees will participate as technical support. We invite you to make the world a better place with your new ideas.
