[Experimental recipe] Catching mosquitoes (female) easily and observing their movement (Waseda Institute of Advanced Study).

<What to prepare

Drainage net
Transparent cup
PET Bottle
Rubber bands

＜1>

Enter the bushes wearing clothes that do not expose skin and expose part of the arm.

＜2>

When a mosquito perches on your arm, cover it with a cup.

＜3>

Shift the cup over your arm and replace the mosquito in the drainage net.

＜4>

＜Repeat many times to collect more mosquitoes.

＜5>

Transfer mosquitoes from the drainage net to a plastic bottle and observe them with a drainage net and a rubber band lid instead of a plastic bottle lid.

<Others

They can be observed for up to 1-3 days without food, but can also be fed with a syringe of sugar water or other food.
Mosquitoes can carry viruses, so be careful not to get bitten.
