Seminar Contents

How do each of your students facilitate discussions during group work and discussion time, which is becoming more and more common in school classes? Hylable is a tool that makes visible what until now has only been seen in fragments as they circulate around the classroom. For example, by visualizing the amount of speech and turn-taking (who is talking to whom) in a discussion with our unique sensors and software, we can visualize student activity, and the data can be used to encourage students to speak up more themselves, or to provide appropriate interventions such as talking to students based on the data to This can bring out the students' independence. In this session, teachers from schools that have already introduced and are using the system will talk about how they are actually using the system. In addition, we will have a work session in which teachers can actually experience the system. We look forward to your participation.
