January 23, 2022.Dr. Tsuyoshi Suto of Kumamoto University will deliver a keynote lecture at Science Castle 2021 Kyushu, a conference for junior and senior high school students. Science Castle is one of the largest academic conferences in Asia where junior and senior high school student researchers gather to present and discuss their research. It is a conference to create a new world together with senior researchers such as entrepreneurs, researchers from companies and universities, and graduate students who continue to challenge to change the world.

Title: Neo-LIFESPAN Revolution, a new technology for visualization of nematode healthy life span!
■Outline: Healthy life expectancy is the most important issue for an aging society. Surprisingly, Dr. Suto focused on a laboratory animal, the nematode worm, and developed a new technology to visualize healthy life expectancy in the same way as humans. He will talk about the excitement of his research and his thoughts on social implementation.
