LIBERNESS Corporation, the International Copper Association, and the Japan Copper Center have jointly developed an experimental class program to allow students to experience the fascination of copper, and we are looking for participants for the class to be held on September 3 in Tokyo for middle and high school students. Outline of the project

How much do you know about the amazing power of the familiar metal "copper"?

Copper not only supports the lives of many people through its thermal and electrical conductivity, as we learn in school, but copper also has super antibacterial and antiviral properties that destroy (kill or inactivate) microorganisms and viruses that cause infectious diseases.

In fact, the "trace metal action," which is an amazing antimicrobial action with only a small amount of copper known since the end of the 19th century, is effective not only against bacteria but also against new coronavirus infections, and the mechanism and efficacy of this action have recently attracted much attention. Therefore, we will have an experience to learn about the "super antibacterial performance" of "copper," a substance that is already active in our daily lives, and to think about its potential.
