Subject research start-up training - Algae are a treasure trove of research material! ~ (Japanese only)

Compared to a few years ago, I feel that the number of schools that are doing research on issues has expanded considerably. However, there may be many schools that still have a long way to go. One particular concern we hear is the search for a research theme and the part of the research that involves the experimental part of the project.

RIVERNESS has developed a research-based education (RBE) concept, in which "research" is conducted in schools rather than "hands-on" research, and has developed a research classroom and conducted it with many schools. This time, we will share with you the appeal of our research project on microalgae, along with specific experimental techniques.

Contents Q&A on microalgae observation, culture experiments, and research projects

In fact, microalgae is a great subject to start a research project. You can conduct a study with local characteristics by sampling from your immediate environment, or you can develop your research according to the direction of your student's interests.

This teacher training will be held within the venue of the Science Castle 2016 Kanto Conference. The venue will be filled with students who are actually working on their research projects and presenting their results. If you are a teacher who is thinking of working on an assigned research project, please take this opportunity to attend!
