4th SOMEONE SEMINAR - Meet the Dr. who cares! ~

The "someone" seminar is an opportunity to meet directly with researchers whom you have only known through the "someone" booklet. Why don't you come and listen to a lecture by a front-line researcher on research you have read about and are interested in? In addition, through the workshop to think about experimental methods, you can deepen your understanding of research and take the first step to start your own research.
We are pleased to invite Professor Mari Kawaguchi of the Department of Materials and Life Science, Faculty of Science and Engineering, Sophia University, who conducts research on "animals," to talk about her fascinating research and the results of her research. Dr. Kawaguchi is conducting research on the unusual method of raising seahorses. He will also tell us about his cutting-edge experiments and his interesting research life! In the latter half of the seminar, junior and senior high school students who are "interested in science but have trouble starting research because it seems too difficult" or "have trouble with how to proceed with research" will work with Dr. Kawaguchi to take the first step toward research.
Junior and senior high school students who are interested in or want to start research, as well as teachers who supervise junior and senior high school students' research, are encouraged to participate!

Please also see someone's article about Dr. Kawaguchi's research.
