Science Castle in Asia is an international conference for high school students across Asia to present research projects related to STEM

Science Castle in Asia is a two-day event with a slightly different format from the Japanese Science Castle.
The inaugural Science Castle in Asia took place in October 2023, where over 350 students from six Southeast Asian nations, including Japan, convened for oral and poster presentations, as well as science challenges and a series of workshops.

Science Castle in Asia also offers sessions for teachers to discuss and participate in workshops aimed at enhancing STEM learning experiences in the classroom. Abstract Registration

Abstract submissions for the Science Castle in Asia must be in English.

Please prepare the following information regarding your research:.

  3. Purpose of Research
  4. Background of Research
  5. Passion for Research
Presentation Qualifications
  1. Each team must consist of a maximum of 6 members.
  2. Teams must have a STEM related research project or ongoing research to present.
  3. The event will take place physically in Cyberjaya, Malaysia, in October of this year.
  4. There is no fee to join the conference; meals will be provided during the event.
  5. All associated costs with attending the conference must be borne by the school.
  6. Accommodation is available for participating students. However, please note that availability is limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
Presentation Mode
Twelve (12) submissions will be selected for oral presentations, while the remaining submissions will qualify for poster presentations.
