とつげき!となりの参加校!vol.7 兵庫県立芦屋国際中等教育学校

Hello!

This is Domeki (Domeki) in Libanes.

This is the seventh time this corner has been published,

Today, I visited Hyogo Prefectural Ashiya International Secondary School!

The school is unique, as you can see from the nationalities of the students below.

The school has an international flavor and focuses on global education.

The presentation is about,

PET Bottle Rocket: The Way to Represent Japan ( Ashiya International Secondary School Science Club )

Our school's science club has been working on a PET-bottle rocket, and in July we won the position of Japan's representative at a national competition hosted by JAXA. We continued our research every day until we won the position of Japan's representative. In my research on PET bottle rockets, I was exposed to air resistance and complex dynamics. I would like to summarize and present the physics hidden inside the PET bottle rocket.

PET bottle rocket!

I had tried it when I was a little girl, and it made me feel nostalgic.

This school was a fierce competitor who became a representative of Japan and won the world competition in just eight months after starting development research.

And from my childhood memories,

How easy is it to win so quickly?" I asked,

It wasn't easy at all. !!!!! and

He told us about the hardships of development,..,

It took several months just to fly straight, and there were many improvements to be made, such as flying several rounds every day while covered in dirt.

I'd like to hear that..,

What I thought was a waste of time and effort was that I could not feel much of the trial and error in the poster presentation.

There are various points of improvement, and we would love to hear about the adjustments that have been made to finally make it fly.

This is because that is the point of the study.

What improvements have been made and what kind of flying has been achieved as a result?

What is the best form that has been developed as a result of the trial and error process?

We hope you will be prepared before the day of the event.

They also took a video of the launch, so I suggested that we show that first.

The introduction is important to get people interested in the research.

I think this will catch the judges' hands-on attention.

There seemed to be a lot of other stories, including a demonstration of how to fire a shot.

Good luck on the day of the event!

Summary of points

⑬I will also summarize the most difficult and interesting points!

⑭Use the presentation space freely for videos, demonstrations, etc! (No singing or running around!)
