ARUKU Project Demonstration Partner Schools are wanted!

2021.05.31
Take a step toward the future from here!

LIVERNESS Corporation, together with Japan Healthcare Corporation, is launching the ARUKU Project with the aim of promoting children's foot health and future health. We are now widely recruiting demonstration partner schools for this project.

<Project Background

The "HOCOH insole" offered by Japan Healthcare Corporation can create an insole that fits a person's feet based on data obtained by simply taking a picture of the foot with a smartphone.
The key to this is 3D design technology based on professional diagnosis. We understand the characteristics of the foot, detect distortions, and extract the root causes. Based on the results of the diagnosis, a 3D design is created using knowledge of podiatry and biomechanics, and output using a 3D printer.
We are accumulating evidence by conducting a proof-of-effect test in a large-scale trial for adults in 2020. In the future, we would like to have young people actually use these insoles to prove their effectiveness academically as well.

Therefore, we are widely inviting colleagues to join us in building a culture of foot education that contributes to the health of children's feet and, by extension, to the healthy life expectancy of Japan.

<Joint Demonstration Plan

(1) Conducting experimental classes on the theme of foot health
(2) Conducting foot health examinations for approximately 100 elementary school students
(3) Feedback of diagnosis results by Japan Healthcare
(4) Insole intervention trial for some students who had issues with foot health examinations
Custom-made insoles will be provided and used for a period of two months.
You will be asked to complete a pre- and post-test to evaluate the health of your feet by means of a sports test or other tests.
(5) Publication and external dissemination of demonstration results
