Have you ever wondered how to start your research?
All research begins with the researcher's "curiosity. The driving force for conducting research is to turn familiar mysteries into interests. The Kansai Conference will be held atThe school will bring together researchers from companies, universities, and junior and senior high schools. In addition to research presentations, the event will also provide a forum for discussing how the research was initiated.
Attention (1)Two world-class researchers talk about "The Beginning of Research"
Two internationally active researchers will talk about their research. They will talk about why they started their research and what they envision for the future based on their research results.
10:00-10:20 Special Lecture "Why it is weird when androids talk (tentative)
Motoyuki Suzuki, Associate Professor, Department of Information Media, Faculty of Information Science, Osaka Institute of Technology
The robot's conversation is a little creepy, with no sense of emotion. Why is this? Dr. Suzuki, a speech science researcher, will talk about the "development of technology for robots to communicate in emotional conversations.

Humans and dogs began living together more than 30,000 years ago. It is believed that a bond that transcends species has been created by "looking at each other. We will talk with Dr. Kikusui of Azabu University, who reveals the science of bonding through hormones.

In addition to the main research presentations and lectures, there will be research presentations by university students, workshops to find seeds of research, experiment classes by companies, and seminars by teachers to guide participants in their research projects. We created a place where employees and middle and high school students can experience and think about using hydrogen as energy together with employees who are actually involved in the development of Honda's hydrogen fuel cell vehicles. We look forward to seeing you there!
Audience is welcome!
Although applications for presentations are closed, middle and high school students and middle and high school teachers are welcome to observe. Schools are also welcome to visit, so please contact us if you would like to participate.
