Sunday, December 6, Science Castle 2015 Tohoku Conference
On Sunday, December 6, 2015, Liberace, Inc. held its first conference for middle and high school students in the Tohoku region, Science Castle 2015 Tohoku Conference.
More and more researchers are taking on the challenge of solving local problems.
REVANES Corporation is promoting Research Based Education (RBE) to promote research activities among middle and high school students.Science Castle.In the past three years, we have provided a total of more than 400 opportunities for research presentations. In addition, in the Tohoku regionTohoku Bioeducation ProjectWe have supported research activities by high school students in cooperation with companies, universities, and high schools, such asResearchers who take on the challenges of regional development through cutting-edge science and technology and research results that address local issuesis increasing in the Tohoku region.
To further develop these activities and contribute to the development of the next generation in the region, we held Science Castle 2015 Tohoku for the first time in the Tohoku region.
The stage is set at Tohoku University, and the theme is "Advanced Research with Roots in Society.
Tohoku University will be the setting for the commemorative first Tohoku Conference. Tohoku University is the center of knowledge in the Tohoku region, and is the site of the "Advanced Research with Roots in SocietyThe theme of the event was "The Future of Energy" and featured fascinating lectures by researchers in the fields of energy and medicine. For junior and senior high school students, it was an opportunity to present the results of their daily research projects and club activities,A place to imagine the future world that research will create across disciplines and generations.The participants were able to discuss how to grasp social issues and give back the knowledge gained from research through presentations and exchanges with university researchers.

In addition to research presentations, special events linked to the theme will be held at Tohoku University andThe event also provided an opportunity to learn how researchers are building the future by putting down roots in society, and to discuss university life and research careers.
