Nippo Corporation, together with Liverness Corporation, aims to revitalize manufacturing education in Japan by developing a service to provide 3D printers to educational institutions.

At the Science Castle 2023 Kanto Conference, a conference for middle and high school students organized by RIVANES, in addition to the establishment of the Nippo Award for poster presentations and a booth exhibit for students,
A special project for teachers, "Four-Dimensional Pockets to Create Tools Researchers Want to Make - 3D Printers for Using 3D Technology in Schools," was held.

This project was designed to give teachers an idea of how to use printers in schools, and to share ideas with other teachers.
In addition, the participants actually touched the 3D printer made by Nippo and experienced the series of steps from turning on the 3D printer to molding.

In the survey,

  • I felt that it was easy to use and could easily be utilized in schools.
  • It was easy to visualize the 3D printer by actually seeing it in action.
  • We hope to be able to use it for robot contests, etc.

We also received comments that led us to consider specific ways to utilize the system, such as

Booth exhibits will be held in the poster presentation and booth exhibition areas on the day of the event.
We provided an opportunity for students participating in the Science Castle and teachers other than those participating in the project to experience the 3D printer and imagine how it could be used in exploratory activities and classes.
