The Future of People, Science, Technology and the Environment
Humans live by benefiting from the development of science and technology through research activities. On the other hand, human-centered use of science and technology has placed a heavy burden on the natural environment, creating many challenges as well as benefits. Therefore, under the theme of "The Future of Humans and the Environment," the Science Castle Kyushu-Okinawa will be held in Minamata City, the environmental capital of Japan, to reexamine the relationship between humans, science and technology, and the environment, and to begin creating the future.
