Science Castle Grant 2024 Ajinomoto (Malaysia) Berhad Award (Malaysia only)

 

Science Castle Grant 2024 Ajinomoto (Malaysia) Berhad Award offers a research grant worth RM 2,000 to five selected teams from secondary schools or equivalent educational institutes in Malaysia. This opportunity allows them to engage in five months of research on selected themes, mentored by both Leave a Nest and Ajinomoto (Malaysia) Berhad researchers.

Subsequently, they will have the opportunity to present their findings at the Science Castle in Asia 2024, an international conference for secondary school students in Asia

Who can apply? A team of up to 5 members from the same secondary school or equivalent educational institution in Malaysia. There is no limit on the number of applications that a school/institution can submit.

申請条件

  • Applications are open to secondary school students or equivalent educational institutions in Malaysia (maximum of 5 students per group).
  • Selected teams will be required to attend the grant award ceremony on 2nd May 2024 at Ajinomoto (Malaysia) Berhad Manufacturing, Bandar Enstek, Negeri Sembilan.
  • The selected groups will conduct research on the given theme for 5 months (May to September) using the grant under the supervision of researchers from Leave a Nest and Ajinomoto (Malaysia) Berhad. Online mentoring sessions will be held once a month (or as necessary) for a minimum duration of 60 minutes outside the class schedule.
  • The selected groups will make their final presentations on 20th October 2024 during Science Castle in Asia 2024 at the Tun Chancellor Hall, Multimedia University (MMU) Cyberjaya. Science Castle in Asia is an international conference for secondary school students hosted by Leave a Nest. The presentations will be reviewed by expert judges, and monetary research awards will be given to the best presenters.
  • The consent of the school or parent/guardian supporting the research must be obtained before proceeding.
